Different Ways to Reset HP PSC Printers

PSC printers are great printers. In my personal opinion they are probably the highest quality printers HP has ever built. However there are times that PSC printers tend not to function properly as expective which most of the time can be fixed through a reset.

There are a lot of reason why one would need to reset an HP printer. Below are the most common issues that can be fixed via reset.

• Ink Cartridge Problems – sometime ink cartridge is not being detected by the printer. Resetting your PSC printer may be able to fix it.
• Ink Regionalization – this issue is when your HP PSC printer is brought to another region and Ink on the new location is not compatible with you printer. IMPORTANT: A lot of users mistake this issue as fixable via reset however, you CANNOT fix this issue via reset. You need to contact HP so they can guide you with the ink regionalization process.
• Slow printing – If your PSC printer is printing slowly, resetting it should clear out the excess memory from your printer and make it responsive again.

Resetting your printer is easy and there is no other way to do this. All you have to do is power cycle your printer, also known as hard resetting the printer.
