The Hp DeskJet 3820 is an old printer and is currently unsupported by HP. So, if you encounter issues and it does not printer, most likely, HP won’t support your with the troubleshooting. Luckily, fixing it is easy. All you have to do is reset it.
The most common issue for this printer is when the print job is stuck on queue. You can either fix it through software by restarting the print spooler of through a printer reset, please see instructions below.
- Make sure the Hp DeskJet 3820 is ON. If it is OFF please turn it ON and allow it to settle down.
- While the printer is ON. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Wait for 30 seconds.
- After waiting, plug the power cord back into the printer. This should automatically turn ON the printer. If not, then press the power button to turn it On.
